The Measure for Measure men's choir sings on stage, framed between Christmas decor during their Sounds of the Season holiday concert

Sounds of the Season: Photographing Measure for Measure’s Holiday Concert and 2025 Reflections

December 31, 2025 in Concert photography, Ann Arbor Photographer, Ann Arbor Music Photos, Michigan Concert, Mens Acapella Group

As 2025 comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on one of my favorite holiday photo shoots from the Christmas season: Measure for Measure’s Sounds of the Season concert.

Two piano players play on stage at the First United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor while the audience filters in

From the beautiful setting and thoughtful décor to the incredibly talented choir performing beloved holiday classics, the evening felt like the perfect way to welcome the Christmas season.

This shoot was especially meaningful as it arrived at the end of a year filled with growth, learning, and new experiences. While 2025 certainly brought its share of challenges, it also reminded me how important community and connection truly are.

I feel incredibly fortunate to end the year surrounded by supportive friends, family, collaborators, and clients who encouraged me, shared their wisdom, and helped me keep moving forward.

Six men stand singing while a conductor, who has his back to the audience, directs them.

I’m deeply grateful for every opportunity, conversation, and creative collaboration that shaped this year. Thank you to everyone who played a role—big or small—in making 2025 what it was. As I turn the page to 2026, I’m looking ahead with curiosity, hope, and excitement for what’s to come!
